The Sonic Graffiti Project
Over the past couple of years I have been leaving sound objects in public places. These have ranged from small noise box synthesizers to little recorders that encourage people to "save a message for the next person".
This has now developed into a formal project which will see a series of releases and sound objects appear, embedded in the built environment. These will be transient in nature, generally only be available until the battery runs out or the object is stolen or vandalised.
Each formal release will be showcased and downloadable here (look right), although people are encouraged to experience the piece in situ as the chance sounds of the environment are deemed to be part of the compositions.
